lyrics
We Built This Machine
We added value did our time
We waked in line walked in file
We moved forever mile on mile
We did our service did our time
Gave it all up and stayed in line
Our work was endless all the time
We used our voices shared our memes
Shared our anger streamed our dreams
There are so many of us x4
We are the system we are the pain
We are the product the eversame
We are the zeitgeist we are the change
We saved the planet it stayed the same
Streamed our victory on mobile phones
Mass consumption a demonstration
We changed nothing, walked in line
Freaked our nation we worked in time
There are so many of us x4
There are so many of us x4
Politicians and teachers
All you nurses and you preachers
And the builders and engineers
Policemen and marketeers
Editors and journalists
Professors and psychiatrists
All you students and shop workers
The pickers and the packers
And the stars and celebrities
The cleaners and the managers
The futurologists, sociologists
The CEOs and NGOs
The unwaged and the underwaged
We all think were freedom fighters
But we’re like
Ants and worker bees
Ants and worker bees
Ants and worker bees
There are so many of us x10
We Built this machine, we build this machine x 4
There are so many of us x4

It's very hard to pick one track from this excellent debut. Listening to this album somehow feels like discovering a long lost treasure. It's nostalgic but still fresh. It is raw and warm. The songwriting is mature and original. Love it. timo jalkanen
Magnetic, minimalist post-punk with wormy synthesizers and cracking drum machines gives the genre some much needed rattle and shake. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 7, 2023
On their 10th record, the Glasgow-based group serves up more wonderfully menacing, gothy synthpop, perfect for dungeon dancing. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 19, 2023

Super collection of extended tracks many highlights treat yourself. Great to hear Peter Godwin's Images of Heaven and Tenek's extension of Visions. Rob Smith
